Music Business Goals
My future after Graduation is uncertain since I’m focusing solely on my degree achievement and learning as much as possible from all of my talented teachers. At this time, here is what my plans will look like after Graduation:
After Graduation, months 1 to 3
- Update Resume and LinkedIn, highlighting recent achievements and skills
- Networking, finding ways to reach out to potential job leads
- Job Application: apply for entry-level positions in music management, marketing, or any related job suitable for my career move. Or freelance consulting to gain diverse experience.
Short-term Goals months 4 to 12
- Secure a position to land a role at a music label, management firm, or agency.
- Professional development and attending workshops and webinars to stay updated on industry trends.
- Build a personal brand, blogging, or create a social media presence focusing on music business insights.
Mid-Term Goals Years 1 to 3
- Career Advancement, working towards a more specialized role.
- Networking Expansion, join professional organizations such as the Music Business Association.
- Attend conferences and participate in industry conferences to learn new skills and network.
Long-Term Goals Year 3 to 5
- Leadership Role, for managerial or directorial position.
- Explore executive courses and innovative projects or engage in opportunities at industry events as a public speaker.
As I progress in my career, I will consistently strive for ongoing development to stay informed with industry news and emerging technologies, continuously learning and updating skills and knowledge through courses or workshops. I regularly seek feedback and reflect on my career progress to adjust to goals and strategies for new industry opportunities.
